DID YOU KNOW?

Concrete’s many eco-friendly features are an important and growing sales benefit. Learn more at this important online seminar.

The green building movement continues to gain momentum as developers, government agencies, and designers build structures to minimize environmental impact. To take full advantage of this movement and be a participant in the process, you have to have a detailed understanding of the design concepts and guidelines used in LEED.

Plus, ready mixed concrete professionals need to be prepared for the transition from LEED 2009 to the new LEED 2012 rating system and the International Green Construction Code (IgCC), which is expected to be launched in the 4th quarter of 2012 and the 2nd quarter of 2012, respectively.

Attend from your desk and you will learn about the environmental attributes of concrete and how it can contribute to sustainable development. You’ll come away with a detailed understanding of how green building rating systems work. You’ll also learn how promoting sustainable development can benefit the environment and your business. Upon successful completion of the course and exam, course attendees will earn their Certified Concrete Sustainability Specialist designation.
